After moving across the country to San Diego in 2022, everything felt new, open, and uncertain. I worked a lot. Hustled, adapted, landed, and re-landed — moving two more times within this year.

As an artist, this meant my creation came in spurts — bursts of color and quiet in between stretches of transition. Nothing was neat or linear. 2023 was about learning to experiment again. To meet the chaos with curiosity… and trust that my art practice would still find me and guide me. It wasn’t always graceful, but it was healing.
