Rust and Stardust (Diptych)

$260.00

Diptych, 2025 Resin, Airbrush, Hand-Painted Texture on Panel Each panel: 12×28

Titled after Vladimir Nabokov’s haunting line “the rest is rust and stardust” this diptych explores the fragile beauty in endings, memory, and the quiet promise of renewal. Across both panels, the phrase “it all works out in the end” is subtly embedded; a lyrical nod to Maggie Rogers’ song That’s Where I Am.

Created with airbrushed gradients, poured resin, and a hand-painted rust texture, the interplay of decay and shimmer create a visual conversation between breakdown and transcendence.

One of a kind. Each panel is signed on the back and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. Packaged with care in San Diego.

This piece, along with all other fine art is also available for purchase on cohart!
